Website update and Facebook access

We are in the process of updating the website. The structural changes are more or less finished. Next is page content which will be added as soon as possible and in stages. Columcille’s Facebook is now viewable by an access button on the home page, even if you are not a Facebook member. Many thanks to Craig Bennet at Vertus Digital, for developing the site in 2013 and this second update – plus ongoing support.

Music for ALL booking for 2018-19

We are coming to the end of a great music year and thanks to all who have participated. We will be doing bookings (and payments) during the last week of June for the Edinburgh courses, and on Monday 2nd July for the Bonnyrigg course.

Minibus is vital for Columcille

Columcille’s minibus and full-time driver are out every day in all weathers enabling people with multiple disabilities to be collected from their homes and taken to the centre in Morningside.

Thanks to funding from the RS Macdonald Trust, Robertson Trust, Bank of Scotland Foundation, Gordon Fraser Charitable Trust, Cruden Foundation and Sir Jules Thorn Charitable Trust, Columcille is continuing to provide this essential transport free of charge to people who would otherwise not be able to travel to the centre.

This safe, reliable service is vital to the health and well-being of people with disabilities and ensures that people with very profound needs can go out on daily trips in the minibus, socially integrate with the wider community, have contact with nature and the outdoors and not be confined to home or the centre.
